inThe day before yesterday, my wife and I were walking on the beach in Laguna. Today, we’re hiking 7,000 feet up on Big Bear Mountain. Loving our Southern California vacation together!

It’s been more than ten years since I’ve been back to Vegas. Many things have changed but, most things haven’t. People-watching here is some of the best in the world!
This photo was captured on my only night on the Strip and I thought the long exposure captured the energy of the street life. For most of the our trip, I decided that I would do things “off the beaten path” and I have many more photos to share from places in and around Vegas that I had never been before. More to come…

inWent to Disney world the other night to mess around and shoot some photos. Â One of my favorite parts of the Magic Kingdom is the area around Big Thunder Mountain. Â I saw this and had to take picture. Edited in Lightroom with Matt Kloskowski’s strong tonal contrast preset.

inWe had a great time on our vacation in Nashville! Â Now it’s back to reality but, many great memories were brought back. Â Some of my favorites were visiting the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson’s home), seeing Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the Historic Ryman Auditorium and touring the Country Music Hall of Fame. Â We also lucked out and got a great deal on a cabin rental that was conveniently located near Nashville but far enough away from anything resembling a city (Much needed peace and quiet!). Â Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip:
